COSTCO TIP!! Buy frozen churros at the food court and bake them yourself (under-bake to get a much softer middle). Toss in cinnamon and sugar and you can feed a huge crowd! 50 long churros (these are cut in half) for $28! When you bake them yourself they are so much better! My 2nd graders class went wild over them today! 🎉

My amazing trainer, friend, and owner of @dashfitnessstudios shared the best tip for keeping your berries from spoiling that I wanted to pass along to you! 1. Mix 5 cups of water with 1/2 C vinegar. Soak your favorite berries for 2 minutes. 2. Rinse 3. Drain the colander and dry as quickly as possible. Store the berries in a container with a paper towel at the bottom to keep them dry. 4. As we flew home yesterday I turned to my husband and said, this week is going to be different. I’m tired of being impatient, nagging, and frustrated with the kids all day. This week I’m going to be, as my kids say, “easy breezy lemon squeezy”. Bugging your sister. Oh well. Drawing on the cabinet again. Yep. Not getting ready for school. We’ll be late, not my problem. Messy house. Doesnt bother me. Tantrum in the middle of Target. Easy Breezy I’m going to stop talking at and to my kids so much and listen more. We will be late and messy and in disarray, but for this week I’m going to try my hardest to not let it get to me. I like clean and on time and control so this may kill me. Here goes nothing.

3 Months Out: Pick a theme for your party or an inspiration picture that you’ll base your party around. My “Favorite Things” Party was all inspired by a Navy and Orange striped bag I saw in a catalogue a couple of months ago. Pick a date that will work best for your family and guests. Be very thoughtful around school events, community happenings, and sport programs in your area. Talk to friends to make sure you’re not forgetting about anything important. The biggest party planning mistake is scheduling your party on a very busy night for your friends. I find Thursday nights are the best for girlfriends and Saturday night for a couples or family party. Pick your guest list. It may be a small dinner party, a larger girls night, or family BBQ. Make sure that each family or guest knows at least 1-2 other guests. I often bring many different groups of friends together and as long as they know a couple of other people it will all run smoothly. Everyone DOES NOT need to know each other….
