Crunchy Pumpkin French Toast

Happy Sunday!

 

Pumpkin crunchy French toast with Buttermilk syrup:

Use Texas toast or thickly sliced French bread.

Make usual French toast mixture of eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and milk.

Add a can of pumpkin pie mix.

Crush corn flakes and dip bread in egg mixture and then coat in corn flakes.

Make sure to butter your griddle.

 

Buttermilk syrup:

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking soda

Mix first 3 ingredients until mixed together then add vanilla and baking soda.
