Shout Out to the Missionary Mamas

Standing here in Côte d’Ivoire on a philanthropic trip centered on menstruation and supporting the people here… and one of my very first stops was the new Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire Temple.

And then I ran into the missionaries. 🥹

It made my mama heart burst.

I don’t think we talk enough about what these young men and women are really doing: serving selflessly in hard, unfamiliar places- heat, language barriers, food scares, homesickness, long days, real sacrifice, just choosing love and Jesus over and over again.

Being here, I heard from so many missionary mamas whose kids are serving in this beautiful country. And I could NOT believe how many Côte d’Ivoire missionary moms popped up in my DMs. An army of missionaries… and an army of missionary mamas.

I love you. I see you. I’m grateful for you. 🤍
