After five months of prep, countless prayers, so many temple trips, and more than a few nerves—especially speaking on a vulnerable topic in a religious setting—I was so worried about getting it right. I kept reminding myself that this wasn’t the gospel of Kristin, but a message God would want me to share.
Just Take One Step
Just begin with one small step! It doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful or impactful.
Kind Confidence
Kind confidence is walking in with your head up, looking at people, smiling at people, not having your head down in your phone. It’s not looking for the friend that you know the best, but looking for all different types of friends. Kind confidence is being easy on your own and content without a bunch of people around you, content in the middle of a crowd, just smiling and looking at people totally okay with who you are on your own, not having to be with your best buddy.
