DC Trip Reflections

Flying back from an unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸

I had the chance to travel with Senator Curtis, his incredible wife Sue, and a small group of powerhouse women from Utah. We toured the Capitol, White House, and more (VIP style—pinch me!), walked the halls of history, and sat in rooms where big decisions are made.

Yes, there’s chaos. Yes, there’s division.
But there’s also deep love for this country, passionate public servants, and moments that genuinely moved and inspired me.

I listened to a Republican leader speak with strength and conviction—and I was moved.

I listened to a Democrat share with heart and vision—and I was inspired.

Also, as we speak, I’m reeling over tariffs, writing a letter to a school board, working on policy initiatives to help the underprivileged. It’s hard and needed and we can and must use our VOICES!!

Grateful for the people, the learning, and the reminder that America is still so worth loving. 🇺🇸💙❤️
