BYU Women’s Conference

Still riding the high and full of absolute relief after speaking at BYU Women’s Conference yesterday.

After five months of prep, countless prayers, so many temple trips, and more than a few nerves—especially speaking on a vulnerable topic in a religious setting—I was so worried about getting it right. I kept reminding myself that this wasn’t the gospel of Kristin, but a message God would want me to share.

The prayers and love of my friends and family carried me. As I sat on that stage in the packed Smith Fieldhouse with thousands of women, I felt calm, clear, and honestly… excited. My heart was full, and I was ready to speak honestly, vulnerably, and joyfully with my people. The light and love in that room was tangible.

Having my mom, daughters, dear friends and Jeremy there cheering me on meant so much!

I didn’t feel “good enough” going in, but I know it was enough—through my Savior and the guidance I felt every step of the way. And yes, I literally jumped up and down when it was over. What a relief!

I spoke on the subject of “Effective Communication for Building Strong Relationships”. Click here to listen to my full talk. I can’t wait to hear what you think and what your thoughts are about this!
