Ramadan Mubarak
Tonight felt like the kind of celebration that actually means something.
Not a post.
Not a quote on a graphic.
But people sitting around a table together.
On International Women’s Day, we gathered to break the Ramadan fast with women and families from different countries, different cultures, and different faith traditions.
There was food everywhere.
New flavors.
Stories being shared across the table.
Questions asked with curiosity instead of assumptions.
And it reminded me of something.
Celebration isn’t meant to happen alone behind a screen.
It happens when we show up.
When we sit down together.
When we listen to someone whose life looks different than our own.
The most meaningful life isn’t built by posting about connection.
It’s built by practicing it.
By opening our homes.
By setting the table.
By making room for people who expand our understanding of the world.
Tonight was one of those nights.
A longer table.
More voices.
More stories.
And honestly… it felt like the most beautiful way to celebrate women.
