The Gift of Faith Communities
This week has been heavy. A funeral. Hard things. Tender hearts.
And in the middle of it, I keep thinking about faith communities.
Faith traditions are not perfect because people are not perfect. But I believe congregations are one of God’s greatest gifts. His hands on earth. His heart in motion.
Showing up is not always comfortable. Serving is not always easy. Loving people who are different than you is definitely not always natural. And maybe that’s the point. Maybe that stretching is where discipleship becomes real.
I’m doubling down on walking in. On staying. On serving. On letting Christ teach me love through everyday people trying their best.
If you’ve been hurt, I see you. If you’ve been disappointed, I get it.
And I still believe there is something sacred waiting on the other side of showing up!
Happy Sunday friends, I love you!
