A Mother’s Summer Prayer

Help me slow down.

Quiet the noise.

Let me find You in the grass, the laughter, the unhurried days.

In sidewalk chalk and swimsuits.

In lazy afternoons and books.

Let creation count as worship—
Drawing, cooking, coloring, reading.

Help me be present.
Help me see this summer as holy ground.

Let rest be sacred.
Let presence be praise.

May this be a season of gathering and grace—
Of long walks, late talks, slow dinners, and spontaneous dance parties. Of a champagne glass filled with fizzy Diet Coke on the porch.
Of Sunday hikes that feel like worship.
Of finding magic in ALL OF THAT mess.

Let the hustle rest.
Let the schedule breathe.
Let the Spirit lead.

Let this be a summer where I choose slow, choose family, and choose Him.
