Taking a sacred pause

Marking time for a special day today with a forced family field trip (which always end up being great). I used to think days like this were forever. Now I know better and we intentionally pause.

Because I want to remember us- today.

Jeremy is running faster than ever—building, leading, and grinding at Traeger. I’ve never seen him so excited to grow not only a company, but his own gifts.

I wake up each day trying to save my little piece of the world—gathering, lifting, loving. Becoming every single day.

Audrey is in her last season of high school “lasts”—homecoming, SBO, entrepreneurship, and coming home a little more grown each time.

Claire is living at the top of her teenage high school experience—soccer, school, FRIENDS, and rarely in the house (which tells me she’s right where she should be).

Scarlett is embracing her first and last year of “real” middle school with an ease and joy. She’s making it look far too easy and we are not one bit surprised.

Gwyneth, our gazelle, is dancing and growing taller by the minute—social, smart, and sure she’ll be president before either of us.

And the brothers, Spencer and Charlie—football catches, lacrosse checks, tackling everything (except math). Happy to be back at school and back in the game.

This is the sacred middle. The sacred pause. A reminder that today is not forever—and that makes it all the more holy.

Happy Sunday ✨

Let’s go.
